FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY!

FINALLY.

This morning we had a department meeting and it was a bit long but a bit interesting hearing what the economists here in the research department do. I’m also pretty jealous of all the traveling they get to do even if it is business/work-related.

Is it too much for me to ask to go to Spain right now?

Today I sent out a couple of e-mails to my co-workers in fairly decent Spanglish and i've recruited some of the economists to help me a bit.

For lunch I went by City Super and grabbed some sushi before meeting my co-workers up on the terrace to eat. I had a crab tempura roll (and it was no imitation crab/cod either!) and it was only about 35HKD which is <5 USD! Sushi here is much cheaper than back in the States I think.

Yo soy muy contenta que es el fin de semana! I hope that it isn’t raining this weekend because I have a lot of plans on my to-do list!

1. shopping (including a book on Spanish)

2. cable cars to giant Buddha (more info to come…)

3. hike Dragon’s back

4. travel to Spain, Singapore, and just about everywhere else in this amazing world



4. is probs more of a long term goal though hmm?
